Detection and response
SyX-RAY combines a continuous monitoring platform with a Romania-based team that interprets the alerts. The EDR agent recognises mass-encryption behaviour, backup deletion and the tools used by ransomware groups, kills the process and isolates the system. Every finding comes with impact, evidence and remediation steps, not just a technical score.

Frequently asked questions
Should I pay the ransom?
Our recommendation, and that of the authorities, is not to pay: there is no guarantee of decryption, you fund the next attacks and exfiltrated data stays with the attacker. With isolated backups and a response plan, recovery without payment is possible in most cases.
Does my antivirus not protect me from ransomware?
Partially. Modern groups use legitimate tools and fileless techniques that bypass signatures. EDR tracks behaviour (mass encryption, shadow-copy deletion) and stops the attack regardless of the file.
How fast do I see the first results?

Do I need to stop or change my existing systems?
No. The initial assessment is passive and the EDR agent runs alongside your existing antivirus. Active testing only happens with your written approval, inside an agreed window.
